How to Make Writing Easy with audio to text

1. Remove time stamps and speaker IDs.

Place your cursor over the first time stamp until it becomes a black arrow. After that, click once to highlight the entire timestamp column. Select to delete.

Select the lines or table you want to convert to text. Under Table Tools, on the Layout tab, click Convert Text.

3. Remove text breaks or paragraphs from text.

When you highlight your text page, you will see white horizontal lines throughout the highlighted text. These are individual cell breaks.

When the text you want to delete fills the whole cell, highlight the text, right-click on it, select “Delete Cells” from the exit menu, then select “Shift Cells Up” from the menu below and click OK.
If the text you want to delete does not fill the entire cell, you can delete the text the way you normally do in Word.
Removing phase break may involve merging 2 cells. Highlight the text below the comma, then paste it above the pause. This will leave you with an empty cell. From there, you only need to delete the empty cell. Do this by highlighting an empty cell, right-clicking on it, select “Delete Cell” from the menu that appears, then select “Shift Cells Up” from the menu below and click OK.
4. Remove the Transcribe Me icon
Double-click the logo to allow editing on your document header, select a logo, and click the delete key.
